Boarding another person’s Train of thoughts… What a ride. Places and passengers of all sorts - It’s hard to know At which station to jump off Before you go mad Without missing all the good stuff. Che Chidi Chukwumerije

UNCOLONIZED
Chaos made us thirst Orderliness undid the rest Today we ravish with finesse This global concrete forest Immaculately dressed Inwardly lawless Appetite burning in our chest. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
A DEEPER SURVIVAL
The more the world is flooded with A.I., the more I hunger for natural things - Natural images honest to the human eye, a genuine human voice that sings - Content that springs from the human “I”, what the original human spirit brings - The truth’s rough edges, not a smooth lie, the exertion that with evolution swings - The more the world is overwritten by A.I., the more I gravitate towards natural things. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
SMALL IS BIG
Did you ever notice? When we become small, smallness becomes big to us. Both in rightness and in wrongness. Those who have reduced themselves in bondage to materialism become totally convinced that matter is the boundary of realism. But those who have humbled themselves to serve the small inner voice are content to be invisible in fulfilling that in which their spirits rejoice If you love flowers, flowers are big to you If you crave power, power is big to you If you are petty, pettiness is big to you If you are virtuous, the virtues are big to you. And someone doing a very small thing will sometimes look big to you While someone doing a very big thing will sometimes look small to you. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
POINTS OF VIEW
You just assume it’s true Because it’s native to you You just assume it‘s true That my blue is your blue But my blue is really very red rises like blood rose to my head While your blue is green instead the leafy verdure of a flower bed Neither your blue nor mine Is truly blue or azure or divine The blues we see are but in line With our maturity, depth or shine Yet you simply assume it’s true Because yours is native to you You assume that I’m seeing blue Just because it looks blue to you. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
TRAVELLER TRUTHS
The Truth can only be found By those who are seeking it A mistake can only be learned from By those who are making it Full exposure is only feared By those who are faking it A road can only be understood By those who are taking it The Truth can only be echoed By those who are speaking it. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
INNER AND OUTER HEALTH
You switch between poor and rich But which is which? Your soul is a glitch. Wealth never made you rich It only made you a bitch Poverty never made you a witch It simply left you in a stitch Being poor and being rich Have both given you an itch Scratch the surface, it is a ditch Being poor and being rich Are two sides off the middle pitch Scratch the sides, run into a hitch Only Health is wealth, that’s the glitch. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
RESTLESSNESS
Good Morning To every urge that always makes you get up; Good Morning To every discomfort that has never let up; Good Morning To every dream that lifts your head up; Good Morning To every memory that makes you fed up With lying down lamenting and self-compromising While the day is dawning and the sun is rising; Good Morning to restlessness, The twin-partner of purposefulness. Get up! and keep seeking to reach, or grasp, the Horizon - No matter what you have found before There is always something more. Che Chidi Chukwumerije

HOPE TO BE FOUND
Line your pockets with seeds of hope Find purpose when you secretly grope through your hidden emotions, touch one, touch all, no emotion is too much, no matter how intense. The deeper the grip, the closer it is to the reaper - And you are the reaper of what you sow. Empty your pockets of what you know As you walk the road leave a flower trail The Grail finds you if you seek the Grail. Che Chidi Chukwumerije
TALK LESS OF TALKING
How do you move from talking everyday To never talking at all? Say. Say. Say. Because speaking about each Problem, the say, is how to begin to solve them. But what if speech is the problem and Silence is the only solution close at hand? What if talking everyday is too much And the pauses bring the deeper touch? Che Chidi Chukwumerije
