HAPPILY

Happy wife, happy life.
Happy Ex, happy Next.
If you don’t want stress,
Spread Happiness.

LOVE HURTS

If love hasn’t driven you mad
Then you’ve never felt love before
If love hasn’t made you unbearably sad
Then love has not yet pierced your core
If love hasn’t tested the line you had
Between the good and the bad
and fundamentally changed you forevermore,
Then yours isn’t love, just a lore.

And the most astounding part
Is the dull ache somewhere in your heart
and the cold ashes that remain
when you walk down memory lane.

SONG OF RENEWAL

Once you burst the bubble,
Spare yourself the trouble;
Nothing that you do
can ever bring it back again.

The bubble had its season,
The bursting had its reason;
Their veracity’s value
Is not diminished by your pain.

The past looks real but isn’t,
The gift is in the present;
It makes you transform You -
The only goal you can truly attain.

Metamorphosis is life’s pleasure,
It’s a treasure beyond measure;
It makes you constantly renew
Your focus on your spiritual lane.

NO OTHERS

I stopped wanting others
After I met you -
And I still don’t want any others
Even after I’ve lost you.

THE LONG FALL

The thing which if kissed
will bring you the wildest happiness
Is the thing which if missed
will bring you the deepest sadness

The higher you did fly
The longer you will fall down
Until you hit the ground
And instantaneously die.

It is not the final impact that hurts
but the long excruciatingly long fall
unable to reverse or arrest or accelerate
the moment that will end it all.

A time of remembering
A time of regretting
A time of wishful extrapolating
And never forgetting.

SOLITUDE AND YOU

A part of me still wants to show you
Every little flower that crosses my lane
Share with you every story and review
That get’s thrown up by my algorithm

Tell you all the things that cross my mind
Numberless times all through the day
Reveal my plans and ask you if you also find
Them as interesting as they seem to me

Ask you how you are, where you are,
Who you’re with, what you’re doing there
Where it is, if it’s near or if it’s far
How long you’ve been and will be there…

But then another part of me reminds me
That you are gone and gone for good
And I lock my conversations back inside me
Because I’m getting used to this solitude.

FORGET ME NOT

That deep moment
When the grass is calm
The gale is spent
Nature is bent
On being your heart’s balm

A busy butterfly
Like a restless thought
Flutters by
Waving hi and goodbye
Forget me not

Forget me not.

LAW OF THE L

Take your L
Take it well
No one can tell
Why you fell
Did your pride swell?
It rings a bell
It broke your shell
Take it well
I wish you well
Time will tell
And heal you well
Heaven and Hell
Understanding your L
Will break the spell
And make you well.
