WORDS WORTH LITTLE

What are words worth
On this lonely earth?
Actions seem more honest
But they also lie the best.
You don’t know what to believe -
Even silence too can deceive.
Only what you intuitively perceive
Will in the end be your reprieve.

THE BEST OPPORTUNITIES

Why don’t people take opportunities
When they come?
Most especially those opportunities
That come from
The heart and appeal to the sixth sense
And, if grasped, lead us back to the essence
Of the purpose of being human and fulfilled.
A happiness, a love, heartfelt and God-willed.
The best opportunities
Don’t make us wealthy.
The best opportunities
Make us happy.

BELIEVE YOUR HEART

Believe your heart,
It does not lie;
Let it be your chart
and your Why -

Why you believe or disbelieve a story;
Why in all things you give God the glory;
Why you wake up and get up
And dress up and show up
Morning after morning after morning
Like the sun always returning every morning.
Why you remember the sun and look up
And drink renewal from the Grail Cup.

Follow your heart,
no matter where it may roam -
It is like a magic chart
that knows the way home.

MAKING SENSE

Some things don’t seem to make sense
And yet they’re right. You just feel it inside.
The intuition accompanies common sense
And makes it make sense from another side.
Life when seen through the heart’s full lens
Will reveal contexts that otherwise hide;
To a closed mind they appear like nonsense
But one day through facts they’ll be verified.
Some things that seemed to be an offence
Are an offence only to the rigidified;
Some that seemed real become pretence
When eventually exposed by time and tide.

AI CANNOT SATISFY

AI
Cannot satisfy
The longing for reality
The thirst for humanity
It can only replicate duplicate
Reiterate concentrate elucidate
Our past in all its profusion
The sum of all our confusion
Neatly packaged in a way
That appeals to our Today
But it will not give us anything new.
The future is still the spirit’s purview.
If we want the new then we must
Do what we have in the past
Always done to grow: Let go of the past.
Raising the intuition above the intellect
We much reach deep within our depths
And pull the new out from ourselves
Because there is a magic that flows from Above
Into our Intuition, our secret treasure trove.

IF YOU LISTEN

You know?
If you listen to a Person talk
You will see the person’s mind walk
A thousand miles with each word
Mountains they climb, rivers they ford
A world will open up like a magic book
The more you see the less you look
The flowers blossom into new thoughts
Don’t think too hard, just connect the dots
You know? Just flow.

TRUTH IS FOR THE BLIND

Only the blind can speak the truth
Caring not where it lands
Seeing not where it opens wounds
Even in one’s Beloved’s own hands

Only the blind can follow the truth
Minding not where it leads
Seeing not that an abyss sometimes looms
For people, like themself, of honest deeds

Only the blind can bear the truth
Unbothered by its origin
Seeing not the size of the mountain it moves
Or the people and things it’s crushing

Only the blind can see the truth
No matter how bright and blinding its light
For the truth-loving heart is forever full
Of bold and unfailing insight.

DON’T LOSE YOURSELF IN THE CROWD

Never join the crowd
Let your silence be loud -
Never yield to the crowd
Let your humility be proud -
The opinion of the crowd
Is a blindfold, a shroud -
We’re all parts of a crowd,
But each with a spirit endowed.

Don’t lose yourself in the crowd
Because when you were allowed
To come into being, you vowed

To become an individual, unbowed.

WIR BEGEGNEN UNS

Wir begegnen uns
Zwischen den Zeilen von Chatgruppen
Überspringen mit jedem Smiley
Eine Fülle von Sätzen, die
Den Punkt nicht treffen -
Worte wollen gehört werden
Nicht nur gelesen
Gesichter wollen gesehen werden
Nicht nur als Smiley vorgetäuscht
Menschen wollen getroffen werden
Äußerlich - und innerlich.
Trennt uns Farbe oder vereint uns Menschentum?
Spaltet uns Kultur oder einigt uns Gesellschaft?
Geschlecht, Kastengeist, Wohlstand,
Behinderung, Orientierung, Bildung,
Glaube. Was glaubst Du? Trennen uns
Tausend Unterschiede oder verbindet uns
Eine gemeinsame Innere Stimme, die
Weder mit Ton noch mit Händen spricht
Und dennoch immer laut ist,
Immer da ist? Zwischen uns.
