The beach was a friend
Whose waves like fingers
Wrapped themselves around
The hooves of the horses on
Which Kwame and I flew across wet sand
And Daddy took lost pictures
In the background, barefooted
While Mummy and Azuka
Laughed at us cheerfully.
Bar Beach on a Saturday
Long gone away.

I have nominated you for an award for your poetry. You can see the qualifications at
I nominated you because of your writing and the role you play in life. Mr. Campbell stated it better than I ever could.
Once again, thanks for being there.

Hey Shoe1000,
thank you, I am deeply honoured. I don’t get to read your blog every day; but each time I do, I am very affected by your account. Thank you again, for sharing, and for the award of course, and wishing you all the very best always.

My Friend,
The universe or in this case, the Spirit Fortune, puts those who we need to learn from in front of us, when it is time and when they ask for it. I asked to search for the mythical connection to my life, my path and my dis-ease. It is so good to SEE you!
